How to get to Graz

  • Travel by train
      • Graz Hauptbahnhof is one of Austria’s major railway stations. It is located near the city centre, which can be reached in only a few minutes by public transport. Book your train connections here:
      • Travel by bus
        • Long-distance coaches are a popular way of travelling to Graz. There are connections to and from many cities in Austria, Germany and Italy. The following bus service providers offer connections to Graz:
      • Travel by plain
        • I. Graz Airport (GRZ) is located in immediate proximity to the city center with good transport connections.
          • How to reach Graz from Graz Airport (GRZ)?
            • Train: It takes about 5 min. to walk to the train station right in front of the airport (Flughafen Graz/ Feldkirchen). The price for a one-way trip is approx. EUR 2.70, tickets can be bought at the train station.
            • Airport Bus
              • The bus 630/631 from Graz Airport stops at:
                • – Graz Hauptbahnhof (Central Station)
                • – Graz Jakominiplatz (Central transfer point, city center)
                • The price for a one-way trip is EUR 2.70; the bus station is located at the arrivals section.
            • Taxi
            • Taxis wait in front of the airport, a cab ride to the city center costs approx. EUR 35.00.
          • II. Vienna Airport (VIE) is extremely well-connected with the rest of Europe.
            • How to reach Graz from Vienna Airport (VIE)?
            • Bus
              • Dr.Richard/FlixBus from Vienna Airport, duration: 2h 40min
            • Train
              • Direct trains departing every four hours from Vienna Airport and arriving at Graz Central Station, duration: 3h
