Arqus A1 Online Irish Course!

Are you interested in learning Irish and exploring Ireland’s rich culture? We are thrilled to invite you to take part in the A1 Irish Online Course  – Cúrsaí Gaeilge A1 Ar Líne! The sessions of this new course will take place on Mondays (18:00-19:30 CET) from 24 March to 16 June 2025. Registration is open until 17 March.

This course will provide an immersive and engaging experience and is designed to help you master the basics of Irish from the comfort of your own home. Our experienced instructor will guide you through interactive 90-minute sessions online once a week via Zoom and will ensure that you develop a strong foundation in Irish.

At the end of the course, all students who have attended 75% of the lessons and completed the course assignments will receive a Certificate of Attendance, which demonstrates their commitment and dedication to learning Irish. 

The course follows a communicative and task-based approach, so participants are expected to actively participate in the sessions and to complete autonomous work on their own before and after the online class. If a participant does not attend the first class, they will be given a warning. If they miss the second class, they will lose their spot and the next person on the waiting list will be contacted. More information about the methodology and course materials will be provided at the beginning of the course.

This course is open to all students of the Arqus Alliance, but due to high demand, we can accept only up to two participants per university. So make sure to secure your spot early! Participants will receive a confirmation email upon registration with acceptance or waiting list.
