The Arqus Alliance fully supports academics and researchers and offers them all kinds of facilities to exchange best practices in teaching innovation, management and research support, extending networking in the European Union, exploring the feasibility of sharing resources and fostering collaborative synergies between academics and researchers from all Alliance universities.
Arqus works especially to support university faculty through shared resources that facilitate the renewal and innovation of teaching methods in multilingual environments and the promotion of collaboration with departments and professors from Alliance universities.
The Alliance also supports early career researchers, through innovative mobility initiatives, promoting joint PhD and post-doctoral activities and access to research infrastructures shared by the nine universities. Furthermore, Arqus is committed to actively contributing to the reshaping of Open Science and publishing culture, especially regarding Open Access and Open Data, stimulating open interdisciplinary approaches to both curricula and research to ensure the acquisition of high-level transferable skills.
Some of the Alliance’s research initiatives include:
- To expand research networks throughout the European Union.
- To collaborate with new partners.
- To increase scientific production and visibility.
- To access more research resources through shared scientific databases and infrastructures.
- To increase the possibilities of receiving financial support through joint proposals.
