11 Jan 2023A group composed of four undergraduate students of primary school education, one PhD student, two post-doctoral students and Professor Brigitte Latzko, all from Leipzig University, visited the Faculty of Education of the University of Padua last October 2022 in the framework of the Arqus Twinning programme. The purpose of the visit was to learn the particularities and differences between the school systems in Italy and Germany as well as to exchange their adventures as Arqus students.
Now, this group of students tells us about their experiences at the Unimagazin of Leipzig University (in German) as another blogspot within the series “Unterwegs mit Arqus” (“Out and about Arqus”). How does primary school work in Italy? Is the training of future teachers similar or different? What can be learned from each other? These are some of the most interesting questions they raise in the interview along with the cultural visits they delighted in the most in the city of Padua and, in general, their anecdotes of enjoying “La Dolce Vita”.
If you have set a New Year’s resolution to get to know more of the world and internationalise your CV, you can not miss this article. And if you want to know what other opportunities Arqus offers you as a student, follow us on social media (Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn and Instagram).
