Ivan Tsapiuk is a second-year student in the Arqus Joint Master’s Programme in European Studies. Originally from Moscow (Russia), he studied his first year at Leipzig University and just finished a mobility semester at the University of Graz.

Ivan reflects on the academic opportunities this Joint Master’s Programme offers, which lets students construct their own path within the European Studies area. In his opinion, both Leipzig and Graz are amazing cities for international students.

Ivan shares what he likes about living in Graz during his Master’s mobility this last winter semester. He advises incoming students to choose the University of Graz if they want to focus on specific aspects such as the Balkans, but as well is they are not sure yet and want to improve their European knowledge in general.
