Next 9th and 10th November, the Arqus Alliance will participate in the Annual Members’ Dialogue organised by the European Quality Assurance Register (EQAR) for Higher Education. This year’s Members’ Dialogue will be hosted by the University of Granada in the Advanced Technical School for Building Engineering. The event will be mainly focused on exchanges in the framework of the Quality Assurance Fit for the Future (QA FIT) Project, as well as on the EQAR Strategy 2024-2028.

The Members’ Dialogue brings together EQAR Governmental Members, stakeholder organisations, permanent observers and statutory bodies to discuss current policy developments in quality assurance as well as EQAR’s current and future activities. It also serves as a forum for exchange and networking among governments on issues related to quality assurance.

Fernando Galán, Arqus Consortium Manager, will participate in the Knowledge Café session on 9th November from 14:00 to 15:30 CET. The Knowledge Café gives participants an opportunity to learn about specific developments, initiatives and case studies related to quality assurance in the European Higher Education Area and Bologna Process (EHEA). The format enables informal and spontaneous discussions in small groups and allows each participant to visit several topics.

Fernando Galán and Kinga Szuli, Head of Sector at the European Commission, will present “Inquiry into the European Degree and the EDLab Project”. The EDLab Project “European Policy Experimentation in Higher Education: Piloting a Joint European Degree Label“ looks to test the implementation of European and international joint degree programmes and the European Degree Label with special emphasis on France, Italy, Portugal and Spain. The Project, coordinated by the University of Granada, brings together thirteen universities from Spain, Portugal, Italy, France and Belgium representing Arqus and three other European University Alliances (ENLIGHT, EUTOPIA and SEA-EU).
