The Blended Intensive Programme “Cultural diversity: foundations, frameworks and practices”, coordinated by the University of Padua with the universities of Granada, Minho and Wroclaw, kicked off today with the first part of the BIP: the virtual activities.

At the basis of the BIP, there is the idea that cultural diversity is an asset, a resource.  During the whole BIP programme, participants will have the opportunity to come into contact with theories, tools and practical examples concerning educational and policy approaches to culturally diverse contexts. The programme aims to foster self-awareness about cultural processes, cultural identity and diversity, starting from personal experiences and by using an autobiographical approach. The programme will also discuss dialogical, transformative and intercultural pedagogies, and space will be devoted to linguistic diversity, reflecting on the impact of migration on multiple language repertoires around the world.

A total of 44 students from Padua, Granada, Minho and Wroclaw will participate in this BIP.

The second part of it, the physical mobility, will take place from 10 to 14 February in Padua. The last virtual activities will be held from 17 to 28 February.
