European University alliances have joined forces in the FOREU4ALL Community of Practice to foster collaboration and share best practices. The FOREU4ALL Forum Board was recently elected with 15 members, among them Dorothy Kelly, the Coordinator of Arqus.

The next FOREU4ALL Forum Board meeting will be held face-to-face in Brussels, coinciding with the European Commission’s high-level meeting regarding the European Universities Initiative on 26 and 27 February.

Forum Board members will meet on the morning of the 26 to continue working together to strengthen the mission of FOREU4ALL and support the transformative goals of the European University alliances.

FOREU4ALL is a project co-funded by the Erasmus+ Programme of the European Union that brings together the 65 European University alliances into a unified, cohesive structure. The goal is to foster a collaborative and supportive environment where best practices and experiences can be shared not only among the alliances themselves but also with the broader European Higher Education (HE) sector.

Its two main objectives are:

  • strengthening collaboration: facilitate peer learning and knowledge sharing between European Universities alliances, enabling them to leverage each other’s strengths and expertise.
  • sharing best practices: increase the dissemination of transferable results and models within the wider higher education sector to allow their wider use.

To achieve its objectives, FOREU4ALL will:

  • establish topical groups on key topics to facilitate the exchange of best practices
  • develop guidelines and case studies on best practices, providing valuable insights and lessons for European University alliances and the wider higher education sector
  • engage with experts who are contributing to policy dialogue
  • organise events and activities, such as webinars, meetings and workshops, to share information and engagement
  • build the community through community-building activities to foster a sense of belonging and cooperation
  • boost the dissemination of transferable results, as well as events, webinars and workshops organised by the European Universities alliances
