The series of guest lectures “Seven months, seven universities” launches its eleventh episode with a webinar in Spanish: “Mediación, literatura y competencia pluricultural” by professor Inés Guerrero Espejo from the University of Granada. The online workshop will take place on 28th April at 4 pm CEST and it will be broadcast live on the Arqus YouTube channel.

The objective of the talk is to analyse the different activities and strategies for the mediation of creative texts proposed in the Companion Volume (CV) of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages. Firstly, Inés Guerrero will reflect on the importance of literature in language learning and analyse the proposal made by the CV concerning the mediation of creative texts. The professor will continue the lecture by focusing on the analysis of different tasks with literacy texts from the reception, analysis, criticism and creation of them. Finally, the author will address pluricultural competence in different contexts or teaching-learning situations to raise awareness and encourage exchange between one’s own and other people’s cultures.
