The University of Wrocław is awarded €2 million in funding from the National Agency for Academic Exchange

The programme will be implemented from 1 October 2024 to 30 September 2026.

The Polish National Agency for Academic Exchange has announced the results of the first call for the European Universities Support Programme, which aims to strengthen partnerships and the role of Polish higher education institutions in alliances concluded within the European Universities Initiative under the Erasmus+ programme. A total of 31 applications were submitted, of which 27 passed the substantive evaluation and 19 projects were qualified for funding.

We congratulate our partners at the University of Wrocław on this exciting news!

The funded programme will consist of the following activities:

  • 3 Arqus joint degree programmes with partners from the alliance;
  • Study visits by “twinned” groups of students with a mentor to/from Arqus universities;
  • Doctoral student mentoring – trips to Arqus universities to co-sponsor doctoral or cotutelle theses and internships at a partner university under the supervision of a co-sponsor;
  • Researcher networking – Mobility of academic staff for joint grant applications, research, publications;
  • Workshops for students at all Arqus universities under the title ‘The Art of Being Together’;
  • Micro-certification training for academic and administrative staff of Alliance universities;
  • A workshop for the staff of the International Cooperation offices of the Arqus universities: communication skills as the key to building good cooperation.

The programme is financed by the European Union under the project titled Support to European Universities Alliances with the number FERS.01.05-IP.08-0219/23.
