Vilnius University conference open to Arqus: “Neurorehabilitation after a stroke: Creative solutions”

We invite you to participate in the SCIENTIFIC AND PRACTICAL conference “Neurorehabilitation after a stroke: Creative solutions”, which will be held on 28 February 2025, from 8:00 to 16:30 (CET)

The conference will take place at Vilnius University, Faculty of Philosophy, Universiteto str. 9, room 201, and will be broadcast live through the Teams platform.

The conference participants will deepen their knowledge in neuropsychological rehabilitation after a stroke with a particular focus on utilizing novel methods and smart technologies. The topics covered include such practical aspects as goal management training, neurologic music therapy, VR training, and aphasia rehabilitation.

The keynote speakers include:

  • Barbara Wilson (UK),  founder of the Oliver Zangwill Centre for Neuropsychological Rehabilitation and author of world-renowned neurorehabilitation textbooks.
  • Caroline van Heugten (Netherlands), head of The Limburg Brain Injury Center.
  •  Jan Stubberud (Norway), clinical psychology professor at the University of Oslo.

The conference is intended for: clinical psychologists, psychologists, neurologists, rehabilitation specialists, psychiatrists, geriatric doctors, psychotherapists, occupational therapists, speech therapists, physiotherapists, art and music therapists, social workers who work in health care institutions, general practice nurses, researchers, and students.
