Would you like to learn Irish and explore the rich culture of the country? Arqus is thrilled to invite all of its community to join the Arqus A1 online Irish course.
The Irish course of this upcoming edition will take place from 27 January to 31 March 2026. Registration will be open from 8 December to 5 January.
This course is designed to help participants lay the foundations of the Irish language, guiding them every step of the way. The sessions consist of two-hour interactive online lessons once a week with an experienced tutor.
The course follows a communicative and task-based approach, so students are expected to actively participate in the session and to do autonomous work before and after the online class. More information about the methodology and course materials will be provided at the beginning of the course.
In order to receive a certificate of attendance, participants must complete all the tasks and show an active participation (75%) in the online classes. Due to high demand, the course can only accept up to two participants per university. If a participant misses two classes, they will lose their spot, and the next person on the waiting list will be contacted. This course is open to all members of the Arqus Alliance.
