20 Jan 2023The Vilnius University Students’ Representation would like to invite Arqus undergraduate, postgraduate and doctorate students to the 17th edition of the International Conference of Life Sciences “The COINS 2023. Changing the World One Step at a Time: from Theory to Practice” that will take place in Vilnius from 24th to 27th April 2023.
The Conference, organised entirely by Bachelor and Master’s students since 2004, gathers a wide and diverse audience including representatives from the academic community working in the Life Sciences field and members of society in general who could learn about world-class research and challenge themselves. Since 2017, 8 Nobel Prize winners have attended the conference such as H. zur Hausen, E. Neher, J. O’Keefe, A. Yonath, A. Ciechanover, J. M. Lehn or J. F. Stoddart, and many other world-leading scientists have already presented at The COINS.
During the Conference, participants will get acquainted with scientific innovations, perspectives and the most relevant topics in the field of Life Sciences: Bioengineering, Ecology, Neurobiology and Biomedicine. They will have the opportunity to be immersed in a collaborative scientific experience, discuss, learn and share their thoughts with experts, expand their network and enjoy an exciting Programme including keynote lectures, company fairs and networking sessions. The COINS also allows Bachelor, Master and PhD students to present their research to a large audience, get constructive criticism and useful advice.
Registration for the Conference is open until 20th March here.
Registration for posters presentation is open until 26th March. The first four students to register for a poster presentation session of each Arqus university will do so free of charge. When registering, in the “Ticket Number” field, please enter the following code: COINS-2023-ARQUS-Your University’s initials (UGraz, UGR, UWr, UMinho, UNIPD, UCBL1, UniLeipzig).
