Arqus Teaching Innovation

Arqus Teaching Innovation aims at upscaling the support for teachers in promoting innovative learning, teaching and assessment approaches for more effective and engaged student learning. It seeks to stimulate innovation in teaching and learning in multiple contexts and learning spaces, both inside and outside the classroom.

The Alliance is committed to innovative teaching methodologies through an extensive staff development programme, by facilitating innovative learning, teaching and assessment materials, and by promoting excellent teaching.

Arqus Teaching Quality Commons

The Arqus Teaching Quality Commons were created to promote a common understanding of quality teaching and learning, considering that every university within the Arqus Alliance has its unique traditions, specializations, and therefore also its specific understanding of excellent teaching.

Arqus Teaching Excellence Awards

The Arqus Teaching Excellence Awards is an initiative that honours teachers of all disciplines at one of the Arqus universities and celebrates examples recognized as excellent and innovative in the context of university teaching.
