The Arqus Alliance invites Arqus teachers and academics to an upcoming online Teaching Innovation workshop about collaborative learning. Join on Thursday, 25 September 2025, 14:00-16:00 CEST.

Learning is a social process. Cooperation and collaboration in classes can boost student engagement and retention of input and are thus important in improving learning outcomes. This practical session will explain how and why, and at the same time give participants personal experience of a variety of activities that promote effective student-to-student collaboration. The activities can be used in classes of all disciplines and with groups of any size.

Participation is limited to 30 participants. Make sure to secure your spot!

Trainer


Jon Wright is a teacher trainer, educational consultant, exam writer and examiner with over 35 years of experience. He has written over 20 course books and resource books for publishers such as Oxford University Press. Heinle, DELTA Publishing, dtv, Cornelsen and HarperCollins Cobuild. Research interests include active learning, innovative teaching methods, learner independence, materials design and Content and Language Integrated Learning.
