On Monday 25th January from 2 to 5:15 pm CET, Leipzig University holds a workshop on teaching advanced English for teachers.

As English-medium instruction (EMI) courses become more common at university, language teachers need to be able to communicate using a high level of language and multi-disciplinary vocabulary with students from many fields.

This workshop is designed for teachers who want to deepen their understanding of the particular communication challenges that students enrolled in their English courses for academic and scientific purposes may face. Topics include advanced English practice issues, such as academic discussions, classroom leadership and effective communication.

This workshop is for teachers only and the number of participants is limited to 21 (three per Arqus partner institution).

Register by sending an email to al4_arqus@uni-leipzig.de by 22nd January 2021 (EOB).
