Lyon 1 hosts its 1st Arqus Workshop dedicated to innovative teaching
|
22 Jun 2023On Thursday 22nd and Friday 23rd June 2023, the University of Lyon 1 is hosting a full programme of sessions dedicated to innovative teaching.
Innovative teaching is at the heart of Arqus’ thinking. In this context, two professors from Lyon 1 involved in the Arqus Teaching Innovation group came up with the idea of organising a workshop to promote innovative teaching within the university.
For this first edition, the participants will have the chance to participate in different sessions on the following topics:
As part of the activities of the Arqus Alliance, this event is aimed at the entire Lyon 1 teaching community and anyone involved or interested in these topics.
It will provide the opportunity to exchange best practices, share information about the Innovative Pedagogical Practices projects supported by the iCAP service – Innovation Conception and Accompaniment for Pedagogy – and the tools available, while at the same time explaining how Arqus can help them in the field of innovative teaching.
This workshop will be the perfect opportunity to highlight the achievements of all the Lyon 1 candidates for the Arqus Teaching Awards 2022, as well as those of this year’s two winners (from the Universities of Minho and Granada), who will be attending the event in person.
On top of the different workshops, there will be some poster sessions and demonstrations throughout the event.
Finally, this workshop will also mark the launch of the first edition of the Lyon 1 Teaching Award. The professors who win this award will be the ones participating in the next Arqus Teaching Awards.
