If you are a student at the Universities of Granada, Graz, Leipzig, Minho or Padua check out the open positions and apply by 19 October 2024!

For the second year in a row, the Human Rights Café has been selected by the Arqus Student Co-designed Projects funding to host an incredible transnational session: 5 universities, 5 events, 50+ volunteers.

The Human Rights Café is a student-led initiative organised by SET Padova (the Student Engagement Team at the Unversity of Padua) that has been running for three years at UNIPD. Last year they exported it to the University of Granada and the University of Minho, and this year two more Arqus universities will join: the University of Graz and Leipzig University.

The format consists of informal meetings that bring together undergraduate, master’s and doctoral students, graduates, professors, professionals and citizens who are interested in human rights, regardless of their field of study and their level of education, to discuss human rights-related topics that vary from session to session.

This 2024 transnational session, entitled European democracies at the crossroads: which future for human rights? will take place in the following dates:

  • Padova: Wednesday, 27 November
  • Granada: Thursday, 28 November
  • Minho: Thursday, 28 November
  • Graz: Monday, 2 December
  • Leipzig: Wednesday, 4 December
