Wrocław hosts the second Arqus for Ukraine workshop series

16 Apr 2024On 18th and 19th April, the University of Wrocław will be hosting two workshops addressed to management, academic and administrative staff of Ukrainian universities as part of the “Arqus for Ukraine” project funded by the National Agency of Academic Exchange of Poland (NAWA).
The main goal of these 2-day workshop series is to foster networking and the initiation of in-depth cooperation in the areas of management, research and administration between the Arqus and Ukrainian partner universities. The Ukrainian universities taking part are as follows:
One workshop will be focused on an introduction to microcredentials as a tool for changes in the education system, and the other one on the role of the “Arqus International Officer” as a cultural mediator for building an open academic environment.

The Ministry of Education and Science and the National Agency for Academic Exchange (NAWA) have come up with an initiative to subsidise activities with partner universities from Ukraine that are complementary and synergistic to those planned to be implemented within the framework of the European University Alliance. Wrocław University’s International Office has got funds to enable cooperation between Ukrainian universities and members of the Arqus Alliance.
