From 22 to 24 October 2025, the International Office of the University of Wrocław is holding the Arqus workshop “Microcredentials as a new form of education – A change or a complement to traditional forms of learning? The perspective of italian and Polish universities”.

During this three-day workshop, the participants will receive sessions led by Elena Saviolo and Giorgia Bottesi from the University of Padua, and Doroto Piotwska from Łódź University of Technology to learn about the University of Padua experience with microcredentials from both academic and administrative perspectives.

The speakers will present the conceptual framework for implementing microcredentials and discuss key technical and organisational aspects, illustrated with a concrete case study.

In addition, the experiences of the Polish universities will be discussed, using Łódź University of Technology as a representative example.

This event is organised as part of the project  Strengthening the University of Wrocław participation in the implementation of Arqus Alliance tasks, carried out under the European Universities Support Programme (NAWA) and funded by the European Funds for Social Development (FERS).
