The European Researchers’ Night is an annual celebration across Europe, held on the 26th of September, to bring researchers and science to society through games, discussions, experiments, and various other activities.

This year, Arqus will be joining the activities in the Arqus cities of Minho and Granada, engaging the general public and students in activities to share science along with the Arqus initiatives and benefits, and reinforce their commitment to be a forward-looking, open, integrated, and research-driven European University

Minho

When and Where: September 26th, 17:30 (UTC+1) at Fórum Braga (Portugal)

On 26th September, at 17:30, Portugal time (UTC+1), at Fórum Braga (Portugal), the Arqus Experience session will take place as part of European Researchers’ Night 2025. The session aims to present the Arqus alliance to the public through the experiences of three team members: a professor, a student, and an administrative staff member.

Aware of the importance of universities and science in society, European alliances such as Arqus are fundamental in responding to global challenges such as the education of European citizens, the promotion of a multicultural, multilingual, inclusive, and open-minded Europe, the development of new joint programmes and study cycles, as well as the promotion of student and staff mobility between member universities.

In a conversation lasting around 30 minutes, the three participants will talk about their experiences within Arqus, from the mobility application procedure to the actual mobility itself.

Arqus will also participate in the event with a stand where participants can ask questions to Arqus staff and find alliance merchandise. More information here.
