30 Oct 2024On 29 and 30 October, Maynooth University is hosting a meeting of the Arqus Working Group responsible for strategic development and quality. Representatives from across the Alliance have come together for two days of collaborative discussions focused on strengthening and advancing key areas within the Alliance.
The agenda for this crucial meeting includes the development of Key Progress Indicators (KPIs), a fundamental step in ensuring the long-term success and growth of Arqus. These KPIs are based on strategic areas defined by the Rectors of the nine member universities of the Alliance. They will provide a framework for monitoring progress, enabling the Alliance to track its impact and identify areas for further improvement.
Moreover, discussions will cover tools for the visualisation and analysis of these indicators, aimed at making data more accessible and actionable for all member institutions.
Another focal point of the meeting is the Quality Assurance System of the Alliance. Ensuring that quality standards across the Alliance are upheld is vital to its credibility and effectiveness, and the working group will delve into how this system can be strengthened to meet future demands.
Additionally, the development of workflows for Key Processes will be addressed, with the aim of optimising and clarifying internal processes for greater efficiency within the Alliance.
This meeting at Maynooth University represents a pivotal moment for the Arqus Alliance as it continues to enhance cooperation and quality among its member institutions. Keep an eye out for updates as the Alliance strives to create a stronger and more unified future for European higher education.
