Arqus and its interaction with society: Participation in education fairs in Portugal

At the University of Minho in Portugal, the month of March has been devoted to active participation in a range of education fairs. The local Arqus team took part in several initiatives aimed at introducing the Alliance to the wider community and highlighting its role in preparing students who increasingly value internationalisation.

From 5 to 7 March, in the city of Guimarães, Arqus was present at UPA – Open Doors University. The event welcomed hundreds of secondary school students eager to explore the academic programmes offered by the University of Minho, as well as to learn more about its involvement in the Arqus Alliance. On 17 March, in Braga, the focus shifted to the Masters and Postgraduate Fair. Once again, Arqus participated with the goal of raising awareness about the Alliance. The event provided an excellent opportunity to engage directly with University of Minho students, allowing them to gain deeper insight into the wide range of opportunities offered by Arqus. Students showed strong interest in short-term mobility programmes and the possibility of enrolling in joint degree courses.

Finally, the month will conclude with Arqus’s participation in Qualifica, in Porto, the largest event in northern Portugal dedicated to education, training, and youth.
