Listen up! The first episode of the new podcast series “Arqus Knowledge Pills” is released on occasion of the European Researchers’ Night.

A new podcast series named “Arqus Knowledge Pills” brings the scientific expertise of the seven partner universities of the Arqus European University Alliance together – and directly to its listeners. Every episode contains a 15 to 20 minutes talk with a researcher from the Universities of Bergen, Granada, Graz, Leipzig, Lyon, Padua or Vilnius.

The interviews will revolve around special research fields with social relevance and/or current topics.

In the first episode, released on occasion of the European Researchers’ Night on 27 November, 2020, the pharmacist Andreas Kungl, professor at the University of Graz, talks about his research project “Stop Covid-19”. In the frame of this research project, Prof. Kungl and his team are investigating how the coronavirus can be stopped from entering human cells. This research project is accompanied by a fundraising initiative open for everyone – a novelty in Austria.

The episodes of the “Arqus Knowledge Pills” will be published on a regular basis and can be subscribed to on Spotify, anchor.fm and other platforms (see below). Gerhild Leljak (University of Graz) and Pietro Osti (University of Padua) are the moderators that lead listeners through each episode.
