ENLIGHT and the Arqus Alliance organise the 11th Open Science Ambassadors webinar, titled “SCOAP3: Sponsoring Consortium for Open Access Publishing in Particle Physics”. It will take place on 19 January 2025, from 10:00-11:30 CET.
In this session, participants will explore with Stefan Hohenegger, from the University of Lyon 1, the foundations on which the SCOAP3 consortium is built, and review some of the innovations towards providing research communication as a global public good.
SCOAP3 (Sponsoring Consortium for Open Access Publishing in Particle Physics) is a partnership of over three thousand libraries, funding agencies, and research institutions that aims to sponsor the open-access publishing of articles in the field of High-Energy Physics (HEP).
