Scholarships available for the Arqus Joint Master’s Programme in International Cybersecurity and Cyberintelligence (MICAC) | 2026–2028

Are you interested in cybersecurity and cyberintelligence? Do you want to study in a truly international environment and gain advanced digital skills that are highly demanded across Europe?

Within the framework of the Cyberactioning Project, funded by the Digital Europe Programme of the European Union, a number of scholarships are available for students applying to the Joint Master’s Degree in International Cybersecurity and Cyberintelligence (MICAC) for the 2026–2028 cohort.

These scholarships are designed to support talented and motivated students and to facilitate access to a high-level, international Master’s programme in one of the most strategic digital fields.

What does the scholarship offer?

The scholarship consists of a financial contribution awarded directly to selected students to support their participation in the MICAC programme.

Depending on the student profile, the scholarship amounts can reach up to:

  • €12,000
  • €8,800

**The scholarship is awarded in accordance with the official call and is not a tuition fee waiver.**

Who can be considered for a scholarship?

All candidates who apply to the MICAC Master’s programme and meet the academic admission requirements will be considered for a scholarship, provided that they also meet the additional eligibility conditions described in the official scholarship call.

Scholarship eligibility is assessed in line with the conditions set out in the official call, alongside admission to the Master’s programme. Full eligibility criteria and conditions are detailed in the official call for scholarships.

Why choose MICAC?

MICAC is a two-year international Joint Master’s programme delivered by universities of the Arqus European University Alliance. The programme offers advanced, practice-oriented training in:

  • cybersecurity and cyber-threat analysis
  • cyber intelligence and investigation
  • secure systems and data protection
  • legal, ethical and strategic aspects of cybersecurity

Through hands-on learning, international mobility and strong links with industry and research, students develop advanced digital skills that are increasingly demanded across Europe.

The scholarships aim to attract excellent students, regardless of their financial background, and to support their participation in this unique international learning experience.
