The second call for applications is now open for the 2026–2028 edition of the Master in International Cybersecurity and Cyberintelligence (MICAC), a joint Master’s programme offering advanced international training in cybersecurity, cyberintelligence and digital security cooperation.

Coordinated by the University of Granada and delivered together with the University of Padua, Vilnius University and the University of Minho, the programme brings together academic excellence, international mobility and a strong interdisciplinary approach. MICAC is taught entirely in English and is designed for students seeking a specialised and highly international learning experience in one of the most strategically relevant fields today. The joint structure of the programme includes a mandatory mobility pathway across partner universities.

In addition to its academic partners, MICAC benefits from the involvement of companies and organisations active in the cybersecurity sector, strengthening the programme’s practical and professional dimension. The current consortium includes DigitalSign, Eurotux, IMDEA, Qascom, Amped and 4iQ by Constella, whose participation helps connect students with real-world challenges, industry perspectives and innovation in the field.

The second call of MICAC will be open until 6 May. Applications must be submitted through the Arqus application platform: apply.arqus-alliance.eu.

Important eligibility information for this second call:

  • This second call is only open to applicants who are nationals of EU/EEA countries, as well as to applicants whose nationality does not require a visa to enter the Schengen area.
  • As a result, candidates who require a visa to enter the Schengen area are not eligible to apply in this round.
  • This eligibility restriction responds to the specific timeline of the second call and the practical requirements associated with admission, enrolment and the mobility structure of the programme.

Prospective applicants who have questions about eligibility, documentation or the admissions process may contact the MICAC coordination team directly at infocybermaster@arqus-alliance.eu

MICAC offers students the opportunity to develop advanced technical and analytical skills while studying in an international joint degree environment shaped by cooperation between leading European universities. It is aimed at candidates with a strong interest in cybersecurity and a motivation to work in complex international and interdisciplinary contexts.
