The University of Wrocław hosts the 3rd Forum of European University Alliances

The 3rd Forum of European University Alliances is taking place on 12 and 13 June 2025 at the University of Wrocław. This is the first time a high-level event has been hosted at an Arqus university. This conference is held under the Polish Presidency of the Council of the European Union.
The Forum of European University Alliances is a continuation of events serving as a platform for dialogue, exchange of experiences, and shaping the future of European Higher Education. This event will bring together academic and administrative representatives of individual networks, national agency officials, as well as policymakers, and public administration representatives to jointly analyse key challenges and opportunities facing the European Higher Education Area.
The Forum programme includes:
- Plenary sessions with experts and leaders in the fields of education, science, and innovation.
- Networking sessions, providing opportunities for establishing fruitful international partnerships and sharing best practices.
Patrycja Matusz, Vice-Rector for Projects and International Relations of the University of Wrocław, will participate in the opening of the Forum. She will also moderate the session “The future of European Universities Initiative – paving the way towards sustainable funding”
Dorothy Kelly, Arqus coordinator, will be the moderator of the session “The impact of European Universities alliances and best practices in tackling shared challenges”.
Fernando M. Galán, Arqus General Secretary, will moderate the parallel session “Students in the centre of EUI”.
