The 3rd Symposium between the Universities of Lyon 1 and Padua will take place at the Rockefeller Lyon-Est Faculty of Medicine at the University of Lyon 1 on 19 and 20 June.

This symposium, organised in the framework of the Arqus Alliance with the involvement of the universities of Lyon 1 and Padua, aims to bring together scientists working on different topics in the context of the neuromuscular system (e.g. calcium, mitochondria, autophagy, gene regulation, tissue repair and homeostasis).

The overall objective is to stimulate scientific exchanges in order to expand research networks, collaborate with new partners and increase scientific visibility and the possibility of receiving financial support through joint proposals (e.g. European Union or ANR PRCI programme).

The 1st edition in 2023 brought together more than 80 scientists. Over two days, PhD students, post-docs and researchers presented their projects in a variety of oral and poster sessions. Click here to find out more about the meeting and to see the group photo from the first edition.

The 2nd Symposium took place in July 2024 in Lausanne and brought together nearly 100 scientists. This symposium once again brought together the University of Lyon 1 and the University of Padua, two members of the Arqus Alliance.

For this 3rd edition, the scope of the symposium will be extended to all the universities in the Arqus Alliance and we are expecting around a hundred participants.

Doctoral students, post-doctoral fellows and researchers are welcome to attend (with or without a presentation) and the participation is free of charge (i.e. no registration fees and meals are covered for the 2 days).

Interested parties are encouraged to write directly to the organisers (with their abstract if necessary, download the template here). Contacts:
