Apply to the Arqus Joint Master Programme in Food, Nutrition and Health

26 Jan 2026The Arqus Joint Master’s Programme in Food, Nutrition and Health is coordinated by the University of Padua in collaboration with the University of Granada, Lyon 1, the Agricultural University of Krakow and the University of British Columbia as associated partner. It has been developed with the support of the Arqus Innovation Fund and has recently opened its first call for apllications.

The Joint Master Programme in Food, Nutrition and Health (FOOD-H) is a fully integrated, globally competitive programme focused on how nutrition, food science and technology interact with human health. The overarching goal is to offer an innovative educational programme that comprehensively addresses the interplay between food and its implications for human health in a globalised market.
It aims at educating graduates to cope with contemporary challenges such as nutrition issues in food habits, food trends evolution, and the effective connection between production domains, international differences, policy constraints, and sustainability.
A maximum of 30 students are selected per year.

ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS
A minimum three-year undergraduate degree (or equivalent) in Food science, Animal Science, Pharmaceutical Science, Biology, Biotechnology, Molecular biology, Forest Science, Agricultural Science, Medicine or related fields, with proven competencies in the agri-food or bio-medical-health disciplinary areas is required.

English language: B2 level (CEFR) or equivalent to be achieved by July 31, 2026.
TUITION FEES
EU candidates: 4.000€ per academic year
Non-EU candidates: 6.000 per academic year
