Lyon 1 invites Bachelor’s and Master’s students to participate in the MuSkLE Summer School 2025

The 4th MuSkLE (Musculo-Skeletal system, Locomotion, Exercise) Summer School 2025 will take place in Lyon from 1 to 6 June 2025.

The MuSkLE (Musculo-Skeletal system, Locomotion, Exercise) Summer School 2025 aims to train students on the development, regulation and function of the musculoskeletal system in different physiological and pathophysiological contexts. The training will include seminars, tutorials, and practical work using experimental methods on animals and humans.

Bachelor’s and Master’s students specializing in molecular biology, cell or developmental biology, physiology, and exercise science, with a keen interest in musculoskeletal system research, are encouraged to participate.

Key insights to consider:

  • The number of places is limited to 20 students
  • Registration is free but mandatory
  • A selection will be made on the basis of a curriculum vitae and a motivation letter
  • Students who received a passing grade of at least 10/20 and respect the Summer School academic rules and regulations may be awarded 2 ECTS
  • A travel grant could be awarded to cover part or all of the travel and accommodation.
  • The official language of the Summer School is English. CEFR Level B1 or TOEIC > 550 is requested.
