Lyon 1 launches the second call for the ArchiFun doctoral programme

The University of Lyon 1 invites Arqus students to apply for the ArchiFun Doctoral Programme “Architecture, Function and Dynamics in Life Sciences”. The call for applications is open until 31 May.

ArchiFun is an international doctoral programme established within the Arqus Alliance and coordinated by the University of Lyon 1, focusing on the relationships between structure, function, and dynamics at all levels, from atoms to cells, organisms, and ecosystems.

The ArchiFun doctoral programme aims to recruit 23 doctoral students through two calls, one in 2024 and this one in 2025. Successful candidates will participate in a new European doctoral programme titled “Architecture, Function, and Dynamics in Life Sciences – ArchiFun,” co-funded by the European Commission under the Marie Sklodowska-Curie COFUND action.

Applications for the second call are now open. A total of 12 doctoral candidates from any university will be recruited to carry out their PhD at one of the three Arqus partner universities: 8 positions at the University of Claude Bernard Lyon 1 (France), 2 at the University of Granada (Spain) and 2 at the University of Padua (Italy).
