The University of Granada invites Arqus PhD students to UGRSKINTECH, the 1st Training School in Skin Tissue Engineering. This intensive Summer School will take place on 11-13 June 2025 in Granada (Spain). The deadline for applications is 11 May.

The UGRSKINTECH Summer School offers hands-on training experience in Histology, Tissue Engineering, and Advanced Therapy Medicinal Products (ATMPs). This programme will combine cutting-edge lectures, lab workshops, and expert-led discussions, covering key topics such as cell culture, biomaterials, preclinical validation, and regulatory aspects.

Participants will engage in practical sessions, visit a GMP facility, and tackle translational challenges, all while networking with top researchers. Beyond the lab, cultural activities in Granada will provide a rich, immersive experience. 

UGRSKINTECH is accepting applications until 11 May 2025. The Summer School is open to PhD students in biomedical sciences and related fields. 

This in-person programme offers an interdisciplinary and international learning environment, combining:

  • Theoretical lectures by leading experts
  • Hands-on workshops on advanced skin tissue models
  • Brainstorming sessions & translational challenges
  • A visit to a GMP facility & regulatory insights
