Register for the A1 online Portuguese course!

Are you interested in learning Portuguese and exploring Portugal’s rich culture? We are thrilled to invite you to take part in the A1 Online Portuguese Course – Curso de português A1 online! The sessions of this new course will take place on Thursdays (15:00 CEST) from 15 May to 19 June 2025. Registration is open until 9 May.

This Portuguese language course offers an innovative task-based and flipped classroom approach, providing a dynamic and engaging learning experience that invites participants to dive into the foundations of the Portuguese language.

The course consists of six synchronous and six asynchronous sessions. The synchronous sessions will take place once a week via Zoom in a collaborative and stimulating environment, encouraging participants to explore the Portuguese language and culture more deeply. The asynchronous sessions will be available on the Moodle platform and should be followed weekly at the participants’ own pace. The instructor will provide further details on the methodology and access to course materials at the beginning of the course.

At the end of the course, all students who have attended 75% of the lessons, participated actively and completed the course assignments will receive a Certificate of Attendance, which demonstrates their commitment and dedication to learning Portuguese. Important! If you miss two classes, you will lose your spot and the next person on the waiting list will be contacted. More information about the methodology and course materials will be provided at the beginning of the course.

This course is open to all members of the Arqus Alliance, but due to high demand, we can accept only up to two participants per university. So make sure to secure your spot early!
