The University of Granada will host its first in-person Arqus Café on Thursday, 9 October, at 18:00 CEST at the Centro de Lenguas Modernas in Granada. Meanwhile, Leipzig University will offer a series of language sessions during the winter semester, from 20 October 2025 to 30 January 2026.

The Arqus Cafés are informal sessions where students and staff can gather, either online or in person, to engage in language practice guided by native-level speaking tutors of the respective languages. With both digital and in-person formats, the Arqus cafés provide participants with a relaxed environment in which to develop their language skills and broaden their cultural understanding, free from the pressures typically found in teacher-led classroom lessons.

To make the most of the experience, a minimum level of language knowledge (A2/B1) is recommended so you can participate actively in the conversations. Whenever possible, we also offer cafés at different language levels, ensuring everyone has the chance to learn and enjoy the practice.

Participants can choose from more than 14 different languages in each country. You can register and read more information about the events at each Arqus University by clicking the buttons below.
