Four Arqus universities meet at the University of Granada to develop the Arqus Joint Undergraduate Programme in Physics for Technology

05 Nov 2025On 2 and 3 October, the coordinators of the future Arqus Joint Undergraduate Programme in Physics for Technology from the universities of Granada (Spain), Padova (Italy), Vilnius(Lithuania), and Wrocław (Poland) met at the University of Granada to discuss administrative and academic issues, such as degree accreditation and joint curriculum.
Guadalupe Soriano, Arqus Institutional Coordinator at the University of Granada, welcomed the meeting, which was attended by Ana Rivas, Vice-Rector for Quality, Teaching Innovation and Undergraduate Studies, and José Luis Padilla, Director of the Secretariat for Undergraduate Studies and Teaching Staff Assessment
During the meeting, Manuel Pérez Mendoza, Dean of the Faculty of Science, expressed his gratitude for the efforts made in finalising the future joint programme.
The meeting was also attend by academic staff members from the University of Granada (Carlos Perez-Espigares, Artur Schmitt, Estrella Florido, José Luis Padilla García, and Ana Rivas Velasco), Vilnius University (Justinas Čeponkus and Ramūnas Aleksiejūnas), the University of Padova (Francesco Recchia, Enrico Napolitani, Emilia Marzullo, and Tatiana Turato), and the University of Wrocław (Elwira Wachowicz, Remigiusz Durka, Cezary Juszczak, and Tomasz Greczyło).
