Join the CBL-BIP course: One health in action – Tackling pathogens, parasites and vectors

Challenge-Based Programme Learning (CBL) & Blended Intensive Programme (BIP)

Join an international, interdisciplinary course that brings together students from across the Arqus Alliance to address real-world health challenges at the interface of humans, animals, and the environment.

This 6 ECTS programme combines:

1. Online phase – 10 webinars (30h)

Interactive lectures and expert-led sessions on One Health concepts, pathogens, parasites, vectors, and environmental drivers of disease.

2. On-site week in Wroclaw, Poland (40h)

Five intensive days of advanced lectures, laboratory and field activities, ecosystem monitoring, diagnostic methods, hospital/lab visits, mentoring, and international teamwork.

3. Online student-led forum (1 day)

An open symposium where student teams present evidence-based solutions developed during the course.

Who can apply?

Final-year Bachelor’s students, Master’s students, and PhD candidates from Arqus Alliance universities—no specific background required.
