On Tuesday 17 February, the Arqus Local Team at the University of Granada held the Arqus UGR Induction Day to welcome international students from the other eight alliance universities.

The meeting, which took place in the Breaker Centre for Entrepreneurship of the UGR, was attended by 40 Arqus students who have just begun their stay in Granada. The event allowed them to have a first contact with both the University of Granada and their colleagues of the alliance.

They also had the opportunity to learn about the different training and mobility initiatives offered by Arqus and the UGR. With this aim, Guadalupe Soriano, Institutional Coordinator of the alliance at the UGR, gave a brief presentation at the beginning of the meeting, with the support of the Arqus ambassadors at the University of Granada, who helped break the ice.

Following this talk, the Arqus UGR office team coordinated a series of activities for the promotion of cultural exchange and a sense of belonging to Arqus, also with help from the ambassadors. Finally, merchandise of the alliance was handed out to students.

The Arqus UGR Local Team would like to wish the students a pleasant stay in Granada this semester, and hopes that they will take full advantage of the opportunities offered by the university and the alliance.
