The “Teaching Innovation – Qual-AI: Enhancing the Use of AI in Qualitative Research” programme invites Arqus students to participate in a series of workshops dedicated to the use of Artificial Intelligence in qualitative research.

Developed by researchers from the University of Minho and the University of Padua within Arqus Teaching Innovation Initiatives, it will explore the ethical, scientific and methodological dimensions of AI-supported research practices.

The workshops are aimed at undergraduate, master’s and doctoral students in Sociology, Geography, Engineering, Education and related fields.

The next sessions will take place on:

  • 3 June 2026 (online) – 11:00 (GMT+1) / 12:00 (CEST) – with Juliana E. Raffaghelli
  • 18 June 2026 (in person) – at the Azurém Campus, University of Minho – 11:00 (GMT+1)
