Students, researchers, academics and anyone interested in the One Health approach are invited to join the Student-Led Forum taking place today, 29 July, at 16:00 CEST, online via Microsoft Teams. No prior registration is required.

The forum marks the conclusion of the Challenge-Based Learning Blended Intensive Programme (CBL-BIP) “One Health in Action: Tackling Pathogens, Parasites and Vectors”. During the session, students from Arqus universities will present the results of their collaborative projects addressing some of today’s most pressing One Health challenges, including infectious diseases, antimicrobial resistance and public health awareness.

The programme includes:

  • Welcome and Introduction to One Health Challenges, by Dr Agata Dorotkiewicz-Jach (University of Wrocław)
  • Public Awareness and Knowledge of Mosquito-Borne Diseases, mentored by Prof. Claire Valiente Moro (University of Lyon 1)
  • A One Health Approach to Antifungal Resistance in Aspergillus, mentored by Prof. Ana Paula Sampaio (University of Minho)
  • Microbiome Awareness and Antimicrobial Resistance, mentored by Prof. Zuzanna Drulis-Kawa (University of Wrocław)

Each presentation will be followed by a discussion and Q&A session, offering participants the opportunity to engage with students and experts from across the Alliance.

Don’t miss this opportunity to discover the outcomes of this international collaborative initiative and learn how Arqus students are contributing to innovative solutions for global One Health challenges!
