The University of Granada will welcome its new students on 22 and 23 September during its traditional Student Welcome Days. The event offers students the chance to get to know the University’s services, projects, student associations and the many opportunities available to them throughout their university journey.

Arqus will be there too, bringing UGR’s international and European opportunities closer to new students and introducing them to the Alliance. Visitors to the Arqus stand will be able to find out more about the initiatives and opportunities available to the UGR community, but not just by listening! There are prepared games, challenges and a few surprises to make your first encounter with Arqus a little more fun. Come along and take part in our Kahoot quizzes and other challenges. Spots are limited, so don’t miss out!

Getting there and opening hours

To help make the event as sustainable as possible, students are encouraged to travel to the venue by walking, cycling or public transport. There are 72 bicycle parking spaces available between Paseíllos and the ETSIE. The University metro station is just a four-minute walk away, while bus stops served by lines U2, U3, N5, 4, 5, 9 and 11 are all within a ten-minute walk.

The Student Welcome Days will take place at Paseíllos Universitarios on Wednesday 22 and Thursday 23 September, from 10:30 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. and from 5:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.

Please note that a valid University Student Card is required to enter the venue.

For new students, Arqus is a gateway to a European university community that goes beyond the UGR campus, offering opportunities for mobility, international collaboration and connecting with students and universities across Europe. By taking part in the Student Welcome Days, Arqus will continue to bring its opportunities closer to the UGR community and help students make the most of a more international, diverse and connected university experience.

Come and meet us. We will see you at the Arqus stand!
