The Arqus Alliance community of practice “AI and Languages Learning and Teaching” invites you to its 8th online workshop: Microsoft 365 Copilot for Academics: Enhancing Teaching with Generative AI, featuring Virginija Masiulionytė (Vilnius University). The workshop will take place on Microsoft on 28 September 2026 from 10:00–12:00 CET.
In this hands-on workshop, participants will explore practical ways to create learning activities, quizzes and assessments, and adapt AI-generated content to students’ needs and intended learning outcomes.
The speaker will explore Teach in Copilot and the Microsoft Learning Activities platform, considering how these tools can support the preparation of teaching and learning resources. Participants will also learn how to build personal Copilot assistants for specific teaching tasks and recurring workflows.
Throughout the workshop, participants will have the opportunity to use practical experimentation, learn about the usefulness of AI-generated materials and create their own courses, although bringing personal teaching materials is optional.
To make the most of the workshop, participants are encouraged to: Identify a recurring or routine work task they would like to support with a personal Copilot assistant.
Prepare course materials in Word, PDF, PowerPoint, or a similar text-based format to use during the practical activities.
