The way research is shared and communicated can have a significant impact on how knowledge develops and accumulates. In this webinar, Dr. Dermott Lynott will explore some of the challenges associated with closed research and consider how Open Science approaches can help address them.
Under the title “The problem with closed research, and the challenges of open”, the session will highlight some of the issues that can hamper the development of cumulative programmes of research and identify ways in which open research approaches can contribute to overcoming these challenges.
The webinar will offer researchers and academic support members an opportunity to reflect on current research practices, explore the potential of Open Science and exchange experiences with colleagues across the ENLIGHT and Arqus Alliances.
This webinar is part of the ENLIGHT and Arqus Alliance Open Science Ambassador webinar series, which brings together members of both Alliances to discuss challenges, approaches and good practices related to Open Science.
