Agreement for the Automatic Recognition of Language Certificates and Language Competence

During the initial phase of the Arqus Alliance, the Agreement for the Automatic Recognition of Language Certificates and Language Competence was forged. As confirmation of the Alliance’s commitment to plurilingualism and multilingualism, this agreement laid the groundwork for academic mobility and collaboration among its member universities.

Grounded in the principles of mutual trust, the agreement established a framework for the automatic recognition of language certificates issued by the partner universities. By aligning with the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR), this agreement ensures that language qualifications are seamlessly acknowledged and valued across the Alliance.

Approved by the Arqus Rectors’ Council, the Agreement for the Automatic Recognition of Language Certificates and Language Competence marked a significant milestone in the Alliance.
