Submit abstracts by 18 April

Maynooth University hosts EQUITAS Conference 2025

The Equitas – EDI in Practice in Higher Education Conference 2025 will take place on 18 and 19 June 2025. Maynooth University (Ireland) launches this call for abstracts for Arqus academics, administrative staff, students and all who interested in ensuring equality, valuing and celebrating diversity, and promoting inclusion (EDI) in Higher Education. The deadline is 18 April.

Maynooth University invites EDI practitioners, academics across disciplines, researchers, graduate students, managers and administrators to participate in this call for abstracts for the Equitas Conference 2025. Abstracts can be submitted here by 18 April 2025 (you will need to set up an account to submit your abstract).

Given the breadth of the EDI portfolio and the different approaches taken across higher education institutions on the island of Ireland, Equitas is an opportunity for the sector to share learnings, reflect on achievements and explore what we can do better in our data, policy and practice to achieve impact.

Abstracts will be reviewed by the Equitas Team and grouped into themes according to topic and proposed delivery approach (e.g. posters, 10-minute talks, 60-minute peer-learning workshops, or other creative formats).

For your information, the full-price tickets (reductions available for students and unwaged attendees) will cost:

  • €140 for a day ticket
  • €200 for a 2-day ticket
  • €40 to attend the evening meal on the first evening

Further information on how to book your place for the conference, details of our keynote speaker, and logistics will be posted on the Equitas 2025 Website in the coming weeks.
