Telecommunications engineer and entrepreneur, he successfully founded and sold his company. With 8 years of experience leading product teams in payment systems and AI-driven digital products, his innovative and strategic leadership fosters the integration of emerging technologies.

In his upcoming talk, Javier Cañas will share his journey from founding a company as a university student to driving organizational transformation through strategic planning, product development, and the launch of digital services. Attendees will gain valuable insights into his methodologies and problem-solving techniques that effectively translate concepts into successful business ventures.

The speaker: Javier Cañas

Javier Cañas is a telecommunications engineer and entrepreneur from Granada, Spain, recognized for his innovative contributions to event management technologies. He co-founded Bracelit in 2017, a startup that developed an NFC-based wristband system designed to streamline event and venue management by facilitating access control and cashless payments.

Under his leadership, Bracelit gained significant traction, leading to its acquisition by Wegow in December 2021. This strategic move enabled Wegow to enhance its platform, offering a more comprehensive service within the live music sector.
