Green Mobility in Erasmus+ webinar: Best practices and future ambitions

29 APRIL

Format: Online

Open to: Admin. Staff

This webinar session will take place on 29 April from 10:00 to 11:30 CEST via Zoom.

Led by Salome Dermati (Policy and Research Officer at the European University Foundation) and Petra Šmídová (Erasmus+ Outgoing Students Coordinator at Charles University), this data-driven session will examine student travel trends and provide university staff with strategies and resources to promote a sustainable Erasmus+ experience.

During the webinar, the speakers will pursue two objectives. Firstly, they will share insights from the latest Erasmus Student Network (ESN) XV survey and SET project desk research on green student mobility, with a particular focus on travel choices and uptake of green travel support. They will also address the obstacles students face when aligning their internationalisation experiences with environmentally conscious practices.

Secondly, they will explore innovative strategies to promote sustainable travel behaviours, providing university staff with actionable steps to contribute to a more sustainable Erasmus+ experience, particularly for outgoing students. The session will highlight several useful tips and resources that institutions can integrate into their daily operations to further support green mobility.
