Maynooth University invites Arqus students to participate in its International Summer School from 27 June to 25 July 2025. MU’s International Summer School is one of Ireland’s largest academic summer programmes, offering a diverse range of courses:
This four-week programme runs classes from Monday to Thursday, with excursions on weekends. Students take two classes each and will stay in on-campus accommodation, which includes a hot breakfast and lunch on class days.
Arqus students are encouraged to apply and they are eligible for a unique Arqus Alliance discount of €250 to the programme fee (total cost 3,750€). Additionally, the programme includes a virtual component with an online pre-departure briefing and orientation, making it eligible for Erasmus+ funding and students may receive up to approximately €2,000, bringing the potential cost for Arqus students to around €1,500 — an exceptional value for two accredited courses and all included benefits.
Students can apply via the special Arqus Student Application Portal before 31 March:
Students can pick two courses to take as part of their summer school programme, either 5 ECTS or 7.5 ECTS. All courses are 40+ contact hours, with classes 4 days a week, 5 hours of class per day. Every course also includes at least one field trip!
