26 October 2023

Type: Arqus R&I

Format: Workshop

Open to: Academics & researchers

Next Thursday, 26th October, from 16:00 to 19:00 CEST, the University of Padua (UNIPD) will host the event “A look into the future. The evolution of research assessment processes and the advent of Open Science practices”.

The event aims to promote and disseminate the results of the H2020 project Arqus R.I. concerning the reform of the research evaluation processes and the issues related to the different aspects of Open Science, creating thus an opportunity for debate on the future perspectives about these topics.

UNIPD representatives actively engaged in the Arqus R.I. project’s topics, researchers interested in the subject matters and Open Science experts from the Arqus Université Claude Bernard Lyon 1 and the Aix-Marseille-Université and Université de Lorraine will participate in the event.

Selected invited speakers of the European Research Council Executive Agency (ERCEA), the Italian National Agency for the Evaluation of Universities and Research Institutes (ANVUR) and the Coalition for Advancing Research Assessment (CoARA) will summarize the positions of their respective organizations and participate in a moderated discussion with the audience on the taken and planned actions, the reasons behind them, and their implementation processes.
