Sixteen participants from most Arqus universities met online to discuss how they will foster the development of Open Science (OS) within Arqus: contribution to the OS training programme, advice for potential practitioners, advocacy of OS at institutional level.

The full network will comprise around 20 researchers from all Arqus universities with a high level of expertise in Open Science practices in various disciplines. Their personal commitment to Open Science as researchers is the driving force behind their participation in the Ambassador Network.

The profile of the Ambassadors, with details on their expertise, will be accessible on a specific Open Science section on the Arqus website soon, so that researchers interested in OS of the nine Arqus universities will be able to ask for their advice.

After this first round of exchanges and planning, the next meeting of the Network will take place in the autumn.
